01 — Fairy

The one everybody
pictures.

Strung as a canopy over a dance floor, swagged under a marquee roof, run through trees, or hung floor-to-ceiling as a curtain you can walk through. Warm white is the default; we run LED where power or heat is tight.

02 — Uplighting

Walls do half
the work.

An uplight sitting at the skirting turns a flat wall into the biggest surface in the room. We use them on walls, draping, pillars, pedestals and trees — in white, or in a colour picked to sit with your decor.

03 — Pinspots & tables

A tight beam on the
thing you paid for.

Florists spend weeks on a centrepiece that then sits in a dim room. A pinspot is a narrow beam dropped from above onto exactly that — the arrangement, the cake, a statue, a focal point. It is the cheapest big difference on this page.

Lighting is an often-forgotten yet crucial part of the ambience of almost any interior.

04 — Festoon

Bulbs on a line,
strung high.

Heavier and warmer than fairy light, and it reads from further away. Run in swags across a roof, between poles, or through trees. White or coloured.

05 — Big lights & halides

When the room
is the problem.

Theatre-grade fixtures for the jobs the pretty stuff can't do: throwing light across a hall, picking out a bar or a buffet, covering a dance floor, or putting a hard metallic wash on the outside of a building.

06 — Outdoor, fire & water

Gardens, pools
and open ground.

Outdoors there is no ceiling to work with, so the light has to come from the trees, the ground and the water. Flame is part of the kit too — real fire reads differently to any lamp.

07 — Sukkah lighting

Every sukkah is a different structure, so there is no standard package for it.
